Gun killings in Zamboanga
This time we are tasked to create a info graphics about a certain organization, groups, or anything that would give information. Our group chose to create a info graphics about the gun killings here in Zamboanga. We would show facts that we have collected and statistics of the killings that happened in the city.
Right above is a link of our recorded narration to be used for the info graphics. We got the facts from a friend who has connection to the local police who have information that happens in the city. I hard to find a good recording environment so noises can be heard in the recording. This piece needs more enhancement by editing.
I hope that this product would reach out to people and to be informative to everybody and of course to be a tool motivate others to help stop killings here in Zamboanga.

Blogging Assignment #5: Foley Making Activity
Foley (Earl Dalaguit Productions)
In the process of making the Foley, I experience a bit of hardship. I realized that being an Foley artist is not an easy job. Its takes skills to be a good Foley artist. Creativity and good hearing is a must in this field. But aside from the hardship, it was fun to do a Foley. Especially when we watched our finished product, it sounded quite real for the movie and it fitted in.
We dubbed some of the lines in the movie. It was difficult especially in copying the actors accent and the speed on how they say the words. It took us many rounds to be able to perfect the lines.
The sound effects was really fun to do. Its amazing that some materials can give realistic sounds of other things. Its like bringing back our childhood like using kitchen utensils for portraying a sword fight, stomping our feet to make heavy footstep sound of horses and soldiers, etc. Syncing the sounds are very important in this matter for the film not to look funny. Editing the sounds also played an important role to be able to give depth to the sounds. With that, the sounds seemed to have more flavor and be realistic also.
Overall, being a Foley artist for a short time is a fun an a pretty cool good job to have.
